The International Sanctions and Export Control Society ("ISECS") is the only Public Benefit Company in the world dedicated to helping industry enhance compliance with international sanctions and export controls. ISECS' worldwide network is a collaboration between a diverse group of industry leaders, current and former government regulatory and enforcement officials, attorneys, and experienced compliance professionals.
The International Sanctions and Export Control Society ("ISECS") is pleased to announce the long awaited China Sanctions and Export Controls Certificate Course is open for enrollment. After months of preparation, and through substantial international collaboration efforts between Export Controls and Sanctions Advisors LLC (ECSA), ECSA Group LLC, Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP, and Zhong Lun Law Firm LLP, the course is now available through the International Sanctions and Export Control Society (ISECS), Compliance Education Center. This course was developed in cooperation with former officials of both the Bureau of Industry and Security, U.S. Department of Commerce and the Ministry of Commerce of China. Coupled with the U.S. Sanctions and Export Controls Certificate Course, this course is a perfect complement to earn the Certified Sanctions and Export Control Professional (CSECP) certification.
The Introduction to U.S. Government Blacklists training course is designated to teach learners about every blacklist used by the government of the United States to influence global trade, geopolitics, and diplomatic relations. The course was developed by former government officials.
The ISECS-Certified Sanctions and Export Control Professional (CSECP) certification program is a collaborative effort between former international government officials (regulatory, enforcement, and national security), trade compliance lawyers, and industry professionals from multinational companies to create a unique, one-of-a-kind, industry standard for professional certifications.

September 23, 2025: The International Sanctions and Export Control Society welcomes Nathan Oostindjer, Senior Policy Advisor, Sanctions Policy Unit, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of The Netherlands to speak about Dutch sanctions implementation and enforcement.
